I live in the bathtub, eat books like candy, grew up in Indiana. I reside in Brooklyn (12 years in NYC). In my heart, I live in a tree house. Cannot get enough velvet. I’m A 2/4 PROJECTOR, Aquarius with Capricorn Moon (western astrology) And Capricorn Sun, Sag Moon in Vedic . . . saucy. Taurus rising is the gem of my chart. I dream of crawling in the mud, emerging like Venus, being carried by a river, making love with the wind, singing with whales at twilight.

kisses are salvation.

I am here to guide darkness integration for the creative being with epic dreams. I am here for the returning to the embodiment of our nature, depth, and beauty.

Let me say this:

You are real. You matter. Your emotional history matters. Your body matters. And it is not insignificant, the desires calling you forth.

Meeting our darkness and creating room for our full spectrum self offers opportunity to experience optimism, sense the body and emotions, move beyond rejection fear, make peace with grief, share our expressions in the world, not fear our understandings or intuitive processes, and reckon with the systemic bull shit disrupting connection and earthly awe.

What does such authenticity require? It requires a journey of belonging and darkness integration. It requires the compassion to digest our lived experiences, reckon with our intergenerational inheritance, and bow to our inspiration. You are Beautiful. All of you. Plus we need you. We need what only you can bring to this moment in time. You are not random. You are Movement and Magic and Intelligence.

I love this about you and want you to get to experience you more deeply so that your heart can come alive in your life, creations, and community.

I am here for the precious, tender beauty and magic living within us. I am here for the greater belonging. I am here for a different kind of party.

Call me mentor, space-holder, healer and intuitive creator . . . whatever helps. I am attuned to subtlety and scope, investing in a leadership style birthed of body and belief.  

As a professional dancer/choreographer revealed mystic, I have been facilitating softening of spirit, activating presence, designing intimacy, and traversing spaces of body grief and injury for a long while. 

In one breath I could say I belong to chronic illness and in another I am a prophetess. The language and affiliations both hinder and open doorways. What shall we choose today?

Since I began dancing at age 3 - and picked up a camera at age 5 - I’ve been creating and grappling within the worlds of performance, sensuality, safety, chronic pain, and expression. My journey has yielded poetic energetics and embodiment that both sustain my body and creative endeavors while connecting me to intuitive ways of organizing group dynamics.

I’ve been coaching people to move beyond their limits and into their exuberance since I was little. Perhaps I was a bit bossy or a femme dom in the making, back then in my 5 year old velvet leotard situation, a choreographer you’d say. Either way. I’ve been unimpressed and tickled, on the outside directing illumination and gathering before career was a word to reckon with. Vulnerability and Grief became beacons of study in my early twenties while my dance career became a hidden treasure trove of both sacrifice and transmutation.

Lady Deryn emerged as an identity to hold my intimacy + photographer expertise in the world, leaving Natalie Deryn Johnson (my full name) for my own inhabitance. Orienting my life towards experiences of closeness, authenticity, and truth has led to a deep knowing of how to witness and facilitate transformation - on and off the stage - in front and behind the camera -

from my bathtub to yours.

I’m Natalie.

My work in this life is to fiercely and stubbornly champion the realness that is in each of us, even when that risks shaking the dust off of obsolete identities.

Personal Transformation is an intimate journey. You are beautiful and precious and deserve to discover the space holder and mentor that is a match for your path and inspiration. Take a moment and sense into your body and dreams. What is alive? Can you sense the difference between emotional charge and intuition. Do you sense a leaning in or pulling back. What would it be like to have personal attention and someone on your team? What permission are you seeking? Do you feel what you can be and unleash without assistance? Can you sense what might happen from expanding your support system and having someone to help anchor in new energetic ways of being?

I ask because this journey is about trusting yourself and stepping into more personal resonance. This is mystical and involves sincerity. I can reflect and bring my intuitive sass to you, but ultimately this is a moment to explore discernment and desire - to explore an investment in transformation and empowerment.

Since stepping into one on one space is gaining access to my energy field, consciousness, and discernment. It is a sensitive and incredible thing. So I ask you to ask yourself - what possibility do you sense? This is respect for you and me. It may be serious, but somewhere here is the gravity of what we are up to. I love it.

The fun thing about acceptance is that it actually creates the softness to call forth movement. It isn't complacency. It isn’t defeat. It is an adoration of what is here. I call this being with.

My work begins there with the art of being with.

Certainly with a little more poetry, but what could be more poetic than coming to our senses?

This being with and perspective shift brings us to the practicality of the moment and allows presence and creativity to emerge.

How does the work happen? My work entails a tapestry of modalities that I pull from in a responsive fashion to meet what is aching to be moved and witnessed. In a sense, I hold of a field of awareness to offer transmission, direction, and movement. This is discernment and honoring the intelligence of life -listening to energy, patterns, and bodily expression.
